EARLY YEARS AT OCEAN CREST

A confindent start, built around every child

Admission into Nursery and Reception is based on a warm, age appropriate observation, not a high-pressure examination. We look at each child’s personal, social and emotional development, early language,
basic mathematical awareness and overall school readiness.

Original documents are returned after verification. Additional
learning or specialist reports should be included where applicable.

Birth certificate and immunisation records — original and photocopy

Recent certified medical report

Three recent passport photographs

Previous school report and confidential reference, where applicable

Educational psychologist, IEP, specialist or therapy reports, where applicable

EYFS age guide

Placement follows the child’s age on 31 August, while also
considering developmental readiness and educational background.
